Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has appealed to Nigerians and her fans for financial assistance as she battles a serious health condition requiring urgent medical intervention.
The celebrated actress disclosed that she has been hospitalized for about three weeks and urgently needs three life-saving surgeries, estimated to cost ₦30 million.
In an emotional video shared on her social media page, Nwosu said making the public appeal was one of the most difficult decisions she has had to take. She pleaded with friends, colleagues, fans, and well-wishers to support her in raising the funds needed for the surgeries.
Although she did not reveal the specific illness she is battling, the actress described the procedures as urgent and necessary to save her life.
The appeal has sparked an outpouring of sympathy from fans and members of the entertainment industry, many of whom have taken to social media to pray for her recovery and encourage others to contribute towards her medical expenses.
